Candidate: Assalamu Alaikum. May I come in, sir?
 
Examiner: Yes, come in. Please take your seat.

 
Candidate: Thank you, sir.
 
Examiner: What is your name?
 
Candidate: My name is Abbas Uddin.
 
Examiner: Describe yourself.

Candidate:Ok. Sir, as I mention early, I am Abbas Uddin. Firstly, I would like to describe my educational background. I have successfully passed SSC and HSC from Adarsho High School Narayange and Govt. Tolaram college Narayange respectively. Then I got admitted into Dhaka University in Economics and passed BSS and MSS with second class and first class respectively.These are about my educational background . Then I come to my other aspects.I am a son of MD. Abdul Karim and miss. Bilkis khanun. My home district is Narayangang. Overall I am a well educated, committed and hard-working person.
 
Examiner: What do you know about another famous Abbas Uddin?
 
Candidate: Abbas Uddin is a great folk singer of our country. He was very much articulated and intelligent artist. He was born in the village of Balarampur under Kuchbihar.
 
Examiner: Do you know any song of Abbas Uddin?
 
Candidate: Yes sir, I can recite many of his song .
 
Examiner: What do you know about diplomacy?
 
Candidate: Lexicographically 'diplomacy' means the art of skill in dealing with people. It is also a fact for a representative in order words diplomacy is the management of relations among countries. 

Examiner: Why are you interested in Foreign Affais Cadre?
 
Candidate: We know that diplomacy in today's world is a challenging profession. It will remain so in the years to come. This challenge can be met by committed, proficient and tactful officer. This is a cadre through which I will be opportuned to represent my own nation, culture and civilization in the international era.
 
Examiner: Tell us the qualities of a diplomat?
 
Candidate: A diplomat must have to be flexible in facing any situation. He has to give highest emphasis on negotiation. He always gives top priority for the interest of his country so that he can do everything for the sake of his country.
 
Examiner: Now tell me why 17th march is important?
 
Candidate: This day is important for the birth day of Bangobandhu Sheikh Mujibar Rahman and national child day.
 
Examiner: How many states are there in UAE
 
Candidate: There are seven states in the UAE.
 
Examiner: What are the member states in BIMSTEC ?
 
Candidate: The member states in BIMSTEC are Bangladesh, India, Myanmar, Sri-lanka, Thailand, Nepal and Bhutan.
 
Examiner: What is the title of the British Foreign Minister?
 
Candidate: The Foreign Secretary.
 
Examiner: Could you tell the name of the member states of D-8 ?
 
Candidate: Yes sir. The member states of D-8 are Bangladesh, Iran, Turky, Pakistan, Malaysia, Nigeria, Egypt and Indonesia.
 
Examiner: Thank you. You may go now.
